We are a unique Pilates studio: a warm, welcoming place for movement, featuring teachers from many diverse Pilates lineages and backgrounds. Our teachers have been trained by the most prestigious training programs, from classical Pilates to contemporary Pilates, including Balanced Body, Body Arts and Science International (BASI), STOTT Pilates, and The Pilates Center of Boulder. Each of our teachers combines their own unique training with their own personal teaching style to give our clients the highest-quality movement experience possible. We are all committed to the Pilates principles of strength, stretch, control, and whole-body movement, in order to create balance in the body, mind, and spirit.
We believe that Pilates truly helps improve the quality of people’s lives, and we make it our mission to share the wisdom of the method. We believe that the most important element of the Pilates method is the attention to detail and mindfulness in the execution of each movement; we therefore only offer privates, duets, and small group classes limited to 4 students each.
Our teachers possess extensive expertise in the areas of post-rehabilitative instruction, post/prenatal methodologies, classical, contemporary, and fitness Pilates. Where Are We?
We are located at 2064 Antioch Court, Suite C; Oakland, California, 94611. We are located up the stairs, just to the left of Peet’s Coffee & Tea, in the Montclair Village neighborhood of Oakland.

What’s March Matness? It’s a month-long celebration of Joseph Pilates’ original mat exercise sequence…and of our own capacity to move. This movement series is an invigorating, challenging workout for your entire body!
Want to know what’s so special about the mat work? Take a mat class with us. We’ve got 2 mat classes per day on Fridays, and we’re adding a few special mat classes just for the month of March…including a FREE CLASS on Friday, March 31!
